One Day of Thanks

There are many in Manchester that don't have friends or families to share a warm meal this Holiday. Many will also sleep or spend the day outside, without adequate clothing for a New Hampshire winter. -- Join us at the Salvation Army (located at 121 Cedar Street) in downtown Manchester as we provide a Thanksgiving dinner and warm clothing to our homeless and under-resourced neighbors.

There are two different meal times to make enough room for all of our guests. Meals are served at 11am and 1pm.

We will be accepting warm clothing donations at both Manchester Christian Church locations from October 25-November 15. For a list of needed warm clothing items follow the link below.

Volunteers are needed to supply food items as well as serve during meal times and distribute  clothing. To volunteer for pre-event and event day opportunities follow the link below.

One Day of Community

One Day of Community is back! Manchester Christian Church and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats have combined forces to bring this incredible community event to our city. We are here to bless our city by providing thousands of free filled school supply backpacks, food, carnival events, prizes and lots of other fun stuff. This is a FREE event, so bring your families and join us for a day of fun and games! One Day of Community will happen rain or shine. When you give, lives change!

Can’t make it to a campus to fill a backpack? Donate using the link below to fill one from afar! You can supply one backpack for $15 or two for $25.

Sponsorship & Partner Opportunities

Did you know it takes tons organizations working together to make this event happen? We would love to have you partner with us this year for One Day of Community. Here are a few ways that your organization can get involved:

1) Host a free table at One Day of Community - There is no charge to set up a table at this event. We just ask that you bring your own tent (if needed), signage and anything you'd like to hand out. One 6 ft table, 2 chairs, food & beverages will be provided free of charge. If your organization would like to be a part of this event, please indicate that in the Partner Involvement form.

2) Fill some backpacks - We are also looking for organizations to help fill backpacks with needed school supplies. We will provide the empty backpacks pre-filled with supply lists! If you are able to fill between 50 and 100 we'll get those delivered to you as well. Let us know what you plan on providing using the Partner Involvement form.

3) Donate - As you can imagine, by providing a free event for 5,000 people the expenses are great. To donate, just write a check made payable to Manchester Christian Church (leave the memo line blank so that your donation is tax-deductible) and write "One Day of Community donation” on a sticky note attached to the check in the envelope. You can mail it to: Manchester Christian Church, ATTN: Linda Hamel, 1308 Wellington Road, Manchester, NH 03104. You can also donate online at manchesterchristian.com/odocsponsorship . Let us know about your donation by filling out the Sponsorship form

Deep Freeze

We live in an era of unparalleled connectivity and relentless innovation. The lines between reality and the digital world are being blurred. The rules to the game are constantly changing. And yet there is a timeless path, a historic quest that will take us beyond chasing empty pixels and superficial affirmations. There is a generation who refuses to play by the world’s broken playbook. They press on to a new dimension marked by authentic love and God-given purpose. They reset the score and embrace unlimited life in their Creator.

Who will rise to the challenge of this heroic adventure? Will you just play the game or will you be a Game Changer?

Join us Friday, February 8-Sunday, February 10 for a high-impact winter retreat designed for New England students! Outrageous fun, large group sessions, hanging out with friends, and best of all, it's all focused on Jesus.

This event is for grades 6-12.
