Is someone going to ask me to give my money to the church?

NO. This is a seminar about financial management, not giving. While giving is one part of honoring God with our resources, it is only one part and will be handled as such in the workshop.

Why should I go to the workshop?

You will leave the workshop with at least two things:

1. A deeper understanding of a biblical perspective on money and the very practical wisdom that the Bible has for us about ALL the various uses for money.
2. A budget in your hand, the knowledge in your head, and the motivation in your heart to follow through.

Is this just for people having financial difficulty?

Absolutely NOT. This workshop will be loaded with practical, biblical insights which are helpful to every person, no matter where you are economically.

Should my spouse attend?

If it is possible, we absolutely recommend it! There will be breakout times during the workshop that will be very helpful to discuss your situation with your spouse.

Will there be any follow up help available?

Yes. We will be holding a follow-up mini-workshop, begin small support groups, and one-on-one confidential counseling is always available. Contact goodsense@manchesterchristian.com with any questions.

Is the prework important?

Absolutely. To get the maximum benefit out the workshop, the prework packet should be completed. Please read through all of the materials carefully and when you just don't know what to write, you can make an educated guess! (Available in the fellowship hall in March)
