room greeter

Do you love meeting new people and ensuring that others feel welcomed and wanted? If so, consider becoming a room greater with MCC Kids! A room greater is responsible for greeting children and their families as they arrive to their rooms for church. These individuals arrive fifteen minutes before the service and welcome each child, sign children into the room as they arrive, and answer any questions the parents may have. If you’ve been looking for a way to get connected and serve at MCC, but you can’t commit to serving for a whole service, this role may be a good fit for you! Smiles are required :)

room cleanup team

You always knew your love of Clorox wipes would come in handy! What better way to share your passion for cleanliness than to help clean up some of the beautiful messes made by the kids during each service? If you enjoy sorting Play-doh into the proper containers, wiping tiny handprints off of tables, and returning toys to their proper homes, you’ll love after-service room cleanup! The room cleanup team is responsible for ensuring that each room is cleaned up and reset at the end of each service so that the kids in the next service arrive to a room that is clean and ready to go! If you’ve been looking for a way to get connected and serve at MCC, but you can’t commit to serving for a whole service, this role may be a good fit for you!

safety team

We want MCC Kids to be an environment where kids can feel safe coming to learn about Jesus and interacting with adults and peers. That’s where you come in! The safety team contributes to this safe environment by ensuring that all children and adults are where they should be, which allows the room leaders to focus on teaching our children well. Individuals on the safety team walk around the kids wing during each service and look out for children who may try to wander the halls, adults who may not know where they should be, and/or anything else that may not go according to plan. You are not expected to be a security guard, just to keep an ear and eye out for anything that is out of the norm.
