These pictures were taken in the new Stepping Stones Cafe. The stages and platforms are really taking shape. These are moving fast and furious. Be praying for the teams working on this for safety and wise choices.

Sorry for the delay in getting more pictures posted. As you can se by the photos, the wall is pretty much completed and the work has begun in earnest on the Stepping Stones Café. Over the next few weeks the café will really take shape. We can?t wait for everyone to see this place and for the many people we will be able to serve.

Now that's a wall. As you can see by these pictures we are getting places. We have had a few nice days without snow. It is amazing how much construction you can get done when it isn't 20 degrees and/or snowing. Praying for a very mild Christmas. I keep hearing global warming, I would be happy with just a little Manchester, New Hampshire warming.

These pictures are inside the tent, up about 18 feet in the air. The tent is required to help the concrete cure properly and the guys like working in it too. You can see the granite lentils that cover each opening and add nice visual on both sides of the wall., In a few days we will have pictures of the piece of the wall completed. The other pictures are of the deck that will lead from the Stepping Stones Café into the patio.

Can you say “Winter Conditions”? We wanted to build the wall, God wanted us to rest, and when God says rest, he backs it up and makes it possible. I guess we’ll be rested for the big Monday Night Football Game, GO PATS.

The pictures show the scaffolding being assembled to complete the wall. When completed, the wall is actually as tall and taller than some of that scaffolding. You can begin to see the different bands of smooth and split face concrete being used. The granite lentils are coming soon…

These pictures begin to show how the wall is taking shape and the colors of the block being used. The next few weeks will be similar to the progress Nehemiah made with his little wall…stay tuned.

Well it is snowing, and building concrete walls in the snow is difficult, the guys have gone home and tomorrow is another day...

As you can see by the photos below, the footings are all poured and awaiting the masons on Monday November 19th. The weather has been a bit of a bummer and caused us to be about a week behind schedule. Please be praying for safety for the guys on the site.

November 1st
As Extreme Makeover (the real one) consumes most of Manchester this week, we too are beginning our own extreme makeover. This week our crews have begun removing pavement and relocating some trees. As you can see by the pictures below we are well on our way.
