Our Story
MCC is a Non-denominational Local Church where you will find...
We trust that you’ll feel comfortable here as we worship and grow together into the fullness of Christ! If we can answer any questions, encourage you in any way, or simply give you a shoulder to lean on—don’t hesitate to ask. We’re just ordinary people loving and serving an extraordinary God!
Our church began in 1961 as a storefront mission on North Elm Street. In the 70’s we occupied a small church building on Penacook Street. Believing God had something different in mind for us, the building was sold in 1979, and we purchased land here on Wellington Road. Our Church met at Smyth Road School until 1985 when we erected a simple church building on our current site. The 250 seat East Auditorium was completed in 1992. The numerical growth of our congregation was accelerated in 1997 when we adopted the Purpose Driven Model of church health, and on Easter Sunday 2005 we were blessed to welcome our families, friends and guests into our new 650-seat worship auditorium.
