MCC Food Pantry

Description:
The MCC Food Pantry provides food and encouragement for individuals and families temporarily in need.

Volunteer Opportunities:
A lot of things have to happen to have those bags of food ready to give out on distribution nights.

We need individuals or small groups to help:
  • Restock our food pantry by donating non-perishable food and personal care items.
  • Greet people, pack and distribute food.
  • Go food shopping - needed to check inventory and purchase what we need to keep shelves ready and to fill in holes in donations

Skills Needed:
A love for the under-resourced and their families.

Our Current Distribution Schedule:
Every Wednesday evening, 5:00 to 6:30pm (All pickups are by appointment only)

To donate food, please pick up a brown paper bag (located in the Food Pantry baskets in the MCC lobby), fill it with the item(s) listed on the front of the bag, and then return the filled bag to the same baskets the following week!
