New Hampshire Food Bank

Description:
The New Hampshire Food Bank serves as the only food bank in the state. Each year the Food Bank distributes over 4 million pounds of donated, surplus food to nearly 350 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, day care centers, senior citizen homes and substance abuse treatment centers. These member agencies in turn provide the food to the over 95,000 hungry men, women and children throughout New Hampshire.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Every time you, your family or your small group volunteers one hour at the NH Food Bank the MCC Food Pantry receives 10 pounds of free food credit! A group of ten working for three hours can earn up to 300 lbs. of food!!!

Individuals and small groups are needed to help:
  • Sort food
  • Food drops

When:
Sorting food – Every weekday 8:30 AM – 12 PM (can be scheduled other times as well)
Food Drops – Every Saturday 9 AM – 12 PM
