About Us

We are a non-denominational church of ordinary people loving and serving an extraordinary God.

What We Believe

Words are important and sometimes churches tend to throw around big words, giving you more questions than answers. At MCC we keep today's culture in mind and communicate in ways everyone can understand.

It’s important you know that we’re regular people and we accept you no matter who you are or where you’ve been. Our essential belief is that God loves all people and desires to be in an intimate relationship with everyone.

We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect, all-knowing, and eternally existing in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died for our sins, rose from the dead and will return again, as predicted, to claim each of us who have a personal relationship with Him.

We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to continue the task of "turning ordinary people into extraordinary followers of Christ."

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and has authority in life and doctrine.

Our Pastor

Bo Chancey is the senior pastor for Manchester Christian Church. Bo is a gifted communicator who is passionate about challenging people to fall madly in love with Jesus Christ. He believes that church should be fun and that God desperately desires that all people find the freedom of living an abundant life in Him.

Bo received a degree in History and Speech Communications at Texas A&M University. He and his wife, Somer, have three children: Alizah, Aysen and Ensley. Bo enjoys sports, writing, spending time with his family, and preaching.

Our Story

Our church began in 1961 as a storefront mission on North Elm Street. In the 70’s we occupied a small church building on Penacook Street. Believing God had something different in mind for us, the building was sold in 1979, and we purchased land here on Wellington Road. Our Church met at Smyth Road School until 1985 when we erected a simple church building on our current site. The 250 seat East Auditorium was completed in 1992. The numerical growth of our congregation was accelerated in 1997 when we adopted the Purpose Driven Model of church health, and on Easter Sunday 2005 we were blessed to welcome our families, friends and guests into our new 650-seat worship auditorium.

There's something for them too!

Rockoldeon serves all children from birth through 5th grade during each of our services (8, 9:30, 11am and 12:30pm). We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the service to allow you time to check out the rooms and to share with us any special concerns you may have.

What about Youth

Middle and High School students are invited to join us Wednesdays from 6-8pm for worship bible study, food and fun in our youth center.
